Then, you need to install a companion Google Fit tracker on your smartphone.

Google says the Fit Tracker is compatible with both Android Wear and Apple Watch, so if you’re going to buy a Fit tracker, make sure you get one that supports both devices.
The final way to connect to Google Fitness is via Bluetooth.
Bluetooth lets you use your Apple or Android device to pair your Apple watch with your phone.
This is helpful if you want to monitor your activity from afar and sync your activity with your Google Watch.
If there’s no GPS on your watch, you should also consider pairing it with your iPhone or iPad to get the most out of the data it has.
